David Teevan
David has worked for over 30 years in the professional arts sector in Ireland.
During this time he created, developed and managed a number of highly regarded arts organisations, including, Galloglass Theatre Company (1990 - 2001), Clonmel Junction Festival (2001 - 2015), and Ten42 Productions (2001 - present).
Production
Ten42 Productions was established in 2001 as a production and touring agency principally geared towards world music, theatre and dance. While still producing shows and events, and managing tours,
Ten42 Productions current focus is on working collaboratively with creative artists to incubate and deliver artistically ambitious durational projects.

Research
As an academic researcher my focus is on the social, cultural and political impact and import of community arts and arts festivals. Using ethnographic methodologies my research is framed within an arts management and cultural policy perspective.
Consultancy
As an arts consultant David has a unique combination of perspectives, including the lived experience of a producer and company manager, the institutional perspective of policy writing and grant assessment, and the reflexivity of the academic researcher.
